If you look at the overall cost of Invisalign® versus braces, the clear aligners may be more affordable. Invisalign® is given to you as a series of aligners that you trade out every two weeks. With braces, you come to our office to have Dr. Marc S. Wright tighten the archwires of braces. Another factor that contributes to the affordability of Invisalign® is that you can remove the aligners as needed, whether it’s to brush your teeth, eat, or participate in sports. As a result, patients tend to have fewer emergency costs. Braces are durable, yet they are also prone to damage. You may need fewer emergency visits to your dentist with Invisalign® because you can brush and floss as you normally do.

Emergencies are not included in the cost of the treatment plan for Invisalign®. The most common reasons that people have emergency visits with Dr. Marc S. Wright are damaged and/or lost aligners. If you take good care of your aligners, you should not have any emergency expenses.
