Orthodontics Insurance

Wright Orthodontics strives to make our services affordable for patients in Atlanta, Marietta, and the surrounding areas of Georgia. We work with most dental insurance carriers and can help you determine your coverage level.

Does Dental Insurance Cover Orthodontic Treatment?

Most dental Insurance policies do provide some level of Orthodontic coverage. Our patient coordinator is available to check your coverage at time of visit.

How Do I Know if My Orthodontic Services Are Covered?

Our staff will gladly process insurance claims and will also verify your benefits as a convenience to you. To expedite the insurance process, we will do our best to have all your insurance information verified and set before your consultation appointment. To ensure we have everything covered, be sure to bring the necessary information with you on your first visit.

What Are My Out-of-Pocket Costs?

Out-of-pocket costs for your orthodontic treatment may include:

  • A co-payment, or standard fee that you pay for each visit
  • A deductible, which is an annual amount that you must meet before the insurance begins to pay
  • Co-insurance, which is your portion of costs after the deductible is met

The dollar amounts for each of these varies by policy, so we recommend contacting your insurance carrier to better understand what is expected for your out-of-pocket costs. Our patient coordinator can also explain these amounts after your consultation with Dr. Marc S. Wright.

Can I Make Payments on My Out-of-Pocket Costs?

Deductible and co-insurance amounts can be burdensome for some patients, and we do all that we can to help you afford the care that you receive at Wright Orthodontics. If you are able to afford monthly payments, please review our financing page that includes information about CareCredit®.

What if My Insurance Does Not Cover My Treatment?

We do our best to verify coverage before initiating treatment, but sometimes insurance carriers decide to not cover services. If you incur fees related to your treatment that are not covered by insurance, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance.
