What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is one of the most popular alternatives to traditional metal braces. The system is comprised of clear aligners that fit over your teeth. Every two weeks, you use the next aligner in the series. Each aligner moves your teeth slightly until the desired position is achieved.
Can Invisalign® Be Used for Any Orthodontic Treatment?
Invisalign® may not be recommended for:
- Severe overbites
- Patients who may not comply with use, such as young children
- Teeth that are rotated
- Patients with a history of dental work
